Shipping Policy
When a seller lists an item on eBay, he also tells the buyer how much postage will cost in the Add postage details section of the listing form. The postage costs entered are shown in the listing, allowing buyers to work out the total cost to buy the item. The buyers will be charged the cost specified when they pay for the item. Sellers are also required to specify a handling time, which is how long it will take to put the item in the mail once payment is received.
Tax Policy
Due to government enacted legislation items bought and sold by Australians may be subject to a goods and services tax (GST).
Payment Policy
You can pay for items by PayPal, Paymate or credit card – eBay's recommended safer payment methods. All sellers are required to offer at least one of these three payment options on most eBay.com.au listings. Sellers may also offer to accept additional payment methods, but these may not offer as much protection.
Return Policy
Your ability to return an item depends on the seller's return policy, which you should be able to find in the listing or by asking the seller. Choose the item you’d like to return to start the returns process. Remember that for items purchased through the Global Shipping Program a seller who offers to refund your original delivery costs will only be returning the domestic shipping costs; you will not receive a refund for the international shipping costs and import charges that were paid to the US shipping centre.
