Guide to tracking

Our desire is that all ANZ Rewards customers enjoy their shopping experience and earn Bonus Rewards Points each and every time they shop at the ANZ Rewards Bonus Points Mall. Occasionally however, something might happen which means we’re unable to track your purchase, or award bonus points to your account.

So, we’ve put together this handy guide to help ensure we’re able to track your purchase each time you shop through the ANZ Rewards Bonus Points Mall. Below you will find some tracking top-tips, details of some common exclusions that can prevent tracking, as well as instruction on how can you can check cookie and tracking settings in the most commonly utilised browsers.

  • Ad Blockers are a great way to eliminate unwanted content from your browsing experience. However; at times they may also remove content that you may need or want to see. Our site may contain merchant offer content that is served by "ads". Additionally, the site may load tracking pixels that help us track your shopping journey and make sure you are awarded earnings on qualifying purchases.

Ad Blockers may inhibit this process or hide the merchant offer "ads" intended for your view. You can disable your Ad Blocker temporarily for this domain by clicking "Disable on this site" or adding the domain to a "White List". See your specific Blockers preferences for more information.

Make sure you get the most from your shopping and this site.
  • Always make sure you sign into ANZ Bonus Points Mall and follow our links through to your selected retailer before you start shopping.
  • Please complete your purchase in one session. Using a previously saved shopping basket or saved quote could prevent your purchase from being tracked or might result in your Bonus Rewards Points being declined. If you have a previously saved shopping basket or quote, we'd recommend always starting a new shopping session. Empty your shopping basket, close your browser, return to ANZ Bonus Points Mall and begin a new shopping session by clicking on the retailer link.
  • Use a dedicated browser for all your shopping – its easier to make sure you maintain the right cookie settings if you use just one. Plus - try not to open too many website tabs in the same browser as this can also affect tracking.
  • Make sure that cookies and JavaScript are enabled on your browser or device, and that any pop-up blockers/ad-blockers or Do Not Track settings are disabled.
  • If you have anti-virus or Firewall software installed, you must ensure that ad and cookie blocking is disabled. You may need to specifically enable cookie tracking within your Firewall settings.
  • Do not use offer codes or any other type of discount code that is not published on ANZ Bonus Points Mall. Even using offer or discount codes sent to you directly by the retailer could prevent your purchase from being tracked or might result in your earnings being declined.
  • If you encounter problems while shopping with your selected retailer and decide to complete your order by phone – note that we will be unable to track your transaction or Bonus Reward Points.
  • Never use a saved or retrieved quote when buying insurance, always create a brand new quote and complete your purchase in one session.
  • Where a gift card or shopping card is used in whole or part payment of your purchase.
  • Where a gift card or gift voucher was purchased.
  • Where a discount code, offer code or gift voucher not published on ANZ Bonus Points Mall has been used with your purchase.
  • Where your purchase is cancelled, returned or amended (regardless of the reason).
  • Where your purchase was not fully completed online and in a single session.
  • Where the retailers Special Terms as listed on ANZ Bonus Rewards Points Mall where not complied with.
